With 38 years under her belt at U Salon boutique, the woman everyone calls Katou fell into the pot when she was very young, just like Obelix: her aunt and grandmother were hairdressers, and a mother whose children she looked after had a salon. Inspired by this lady’s impeccable style, elegance, and kindness, Katou took a course to perfect her techniques, having already been borrowing her grandmother’s equipment to cut her friends’ hair at the age of 14 or 15! Beyond the haircuts she loves to create, it is the daily encounters that inspire her most. Listening to the desires of her diverse clientele and understanding their needs is what motivates Katou to offer the most beautiful beauty treatments. She sees her job as the most rewarding one there is from a human perspective, as she thrives on the confidences people share with her and the bonds she forms with them. Mid-length cuts, bobs, layers… ask her for whatever you want: Katou has the skills! And while she would like to gradually reduce her activities, she has no plans to hang up her scissors anytime soon: decades later, she still loves her job!
