An exclusive method of care and massage for the health of the scalp

The purpose of hair care is to improve the quality and health of the scalp and hair which are so often prone to stress, disease, as well as hormonal, environmental, nutritional and chemical abuse. A visit to U Spa  offers a personalized diagnosis and unique expertise that improves the quality and duration of hair colour while highlighting your hairdresser’s cut and styling.

By listening to the unique needs of each client, we determine the perfect care that is adapted to their hair and  lifestyle. And by creating a synergistic experience through each of our services, we can deliver visible and sustainable results. The correct choice of shampoo and conditioner, of thermo-protective care and of the right styling product all result from a good diagnosis. The first step for a capillary transformation begins with your personalized diagnosis.

How to maintain a perfect blond

Blond hair is probably the most popular colour requested at the salon. It can be applied globally or partially with highlights. For an overall global effect, I recommend that my clients plan a visit to the salon every 4-5 weeks, no fail. This allows me to better control the natural pigmentation of hair.

Dia light de L'Oréal

My trick to get rid of unwanted warm reflections: I always refresh  the ends with Dia Light by L’Oréal Professionnel to maintain a cold sheen.  For a partial blonde, I like to alternate hot and cold nuances between Babylight-type highlights, done in freehand, to give a very natural effect that deminds of children hair.

I recommend Shine Blonde by L’Oréal Professionnel to maintain the colour and prevent yellowish tint.

I also recommend to all my blond clients thay get a Power Dose treatment (done at the salon). It’s my secret to keep the hair well hydrated after having been coloured.

An overview of summer trends 2016

beach-wavesloreal-beach-waves

For the summer season, long hair and semi-long hair is in. Hair becomes a fashion accessory; different looks are created with the same haircut. The Bardot inspiration is very present. Inspired from the 60’s, we find a cool blond that is often worn with a lot of volume on top of the head and wavy contours on the face.

My favorite product to create this beach look: try Beach Waves by L’Oréal Professionnel.

Siren Waves-fillesirenwaves

Curly hair adopts a grunge look this season. We feel the influence of the 70’s in this look. The hair brush against the shoulders and a long fringe gives this look all its style. The secret to beautiful texture for curly hair is hydration.

Try Siren Waves from L’Oréal Professionnel.

EvaGreen

The Parisian. A false natural style with a casual look. The hair is worn long and wavy with a fuzzy fringe.

My favorite this season: the Wob.

This cut, popularized in Quebec by Mariepier Morin, is cut at the collarbone. It is worn wavy, parted in the center and without apparent gradation. The hair should be thinned out to get a nice flow. The Wob is so versatile, it adapts to all types of faces and morphology. It is easy to comb and has the advantage of being easy to tie up on bad hair days.

Quick styling tip for the next day, use Savage Panache to ruffle and restore volume to your hair.
